This Undercoat Primer for wall coatings offers great coverage and is an essential part of successfully applying wall coatings.
In neutral white, it is specially made to give adherence to our wall coatings. It seals dusty surfaces and permits the decorative coverings to cling to the wall. Also with a well-installed base coat like this one, a lesser amount of decorative product will be needed to cover the surface. Recommended for these coatings: LOFT Concrete, LOFT polished concrete, LOFT Original and Oxidized Steel coating.
Special Undercoat Primer will facilitate decorative paint application and will permit to eventually remove the decorative coat with a wallpaper stripper.
Application:
On painted walls:
Make sure your surface is clean and dry. With a large paint brush or roller, apply one or two coats of Primer for wall coatings in order to have an equal surface to work on.
Let the painted surface dry completely ±4 hours at 20°C.
Do not apply on wallpaper.
Do not apply on oil paints.
On wood, gypsum or plaster:
Make sure your surface is clean, dry and paint ready. Plaster joint or patches need to be dried out for ±4 days before applying Primer for wall coating.
Do a first coat diluted in 5% of water. Let dry ±4 hours at 20°C.
Do a second undiluted coat.
