Bone black is a natural black pigment created by destructive distillation of animal bones in the absence of oxygen. This pigment has a medium coverage and dying capacity, but its UV resistance is excellent.
Application
It is a pecialty black pigment used to color plastics, wood stains, paints, cement and mortar colors, and artists colors.
Not soluble in water or in organic solvents. Used especially to create shade effects.
