Réponse
·  Is the French polish restorer good for a waxed surface?

No. French polish restorer has a shellac base and is not suited for waxed wood. Use this product on old varnishes (more than 40 years old) . On waxed surfaces, Rapid french polish is perfect. First remove the old wax using Wax remover or Heavy-duty deep cleaner.

It is possible to restore an old varnish by applying Rapid French polish. Apply 2 coats with a 24hours rest period in between coats. For a very old varnish, finish your restoration with a coat of Mild finish cleanser.
