· After an application of Frosted Glass Varnish using a stencil, the result is not satisfactory. The print leaks at some points and in other spots there are some ugly overlaps.
First you have to clean your surface. Starting over is much easier than trying a quick fix. Once cleaned (with acetone) and dry, apply your stencil. Here is the first important step. The stencil has to be 100% glued to the surface. Any space between the surface and the stencil will permet the varnish to run. On an old stencil, put a thin coat of Repositionable Glue. Once this step done, it is time to spray. Spray a very, very thin eaven coat. It is the key to succed this part. The Varnish is clear. It will take its frosted look after a few minutes (10 minutes).
