Loft ( Polished concrete look)
LOFT recreates the best of metropolitan ambiances in your home. This easy to apply concrete-look wall coating is ideal for achieving a contemporary look. This waterbased interior wall coating will seduce by its easy application and great look! And, like most our wall coverings, it can be romoved with a wallpaper stripper!
LOFT should be installed on clean and dry walls.
With a large paint brush or roller, apply one or two coats of "Special Undercoat Primer" (Primaire sous-couche Spéciale pour Enduits) from "Les Décoratives".
Let the painted surface dry completely ±6 hours at 20°C.
Do not apply on wall paper.

Getting ready :
LOFT comes with a small bag (150g) of white powder. Open it carefully and mix with LOFt mixture. This added element will give the covered wall nuances and depth like real concrete. Make shure you mix the two products realy well. A paint mixer is recommended for this step. Once mixed you should use the product quickly (±72hrs).
Application :
1st Step:
Using a Stainless Steel float, apply a thin coat (2mm) to your well prepared wall. Work on areas of approx 3 to 4 m². Once you have weel covered your surface, come back with your cleaned tool and create a pattern. Make shure you keep regular, even strokes for the whole wall. We suggest you start in an upper corner of you wall and work your way down diagonally to the opposite lower corner.
2nd Step:
Dry in ±48 h.
Let the LOFT dry for ±6 h. Then, with a sponge or a water sprayer, lightly humidify the surface (work on ±1m² at one time). With you stainlessteel float, scrape off any undesired peaks and polish the softened surface using circular mouvements. This step will create the polished concrete look.
Protection :
If you wish to make the surface water and stain resistant, apply one coat of translucent Wall Patina.
